Welcome!

Join us for the Second Annual Rowdy RALPH Run! We had such a great time and successful race last year, we're doing it again. This year we're growing the race. We'll have a 10K, 5K and Family Fun Run...not to mention the moon walks to make it even more family friendly!

All proceeds for this event will go towards YoungLife North Fulton...Roswell / ALPHaretta. This promises to be a lot of fun as we run with the community, local high school cross country teams, and everyone else in RALPH! Please show your support and come get Rowdy at the Rowdy RALPH Run!

We're also teaming with Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee House to "do good." We'll be collecting new or slightly used pairs of shoes to send to Rwanda to those less fortunate than ourselves. A worn pair of shoes to a runner can be a welcome upgrade for one without.

The Rowdy RALPH is part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix Series



Race Schedule:
Saturday, October 10, 2009
6:00 am - 7:15 am Check-in and late registration
7:30 am Race Start

Packet Pickup will be at Check-in and is mandatory for the race. You don't want to miss the packet - we have great SWAG; just check out our SPONSORS! or ask those who ran last year!

Race Entry Fees:
$20 - 10K and 5K
$10 - Family Fun Run

Since YoungLife is a Section 501 c (3) charitable organization, the entry fee for this event (minus $10 per racer for the race T-shirt) may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution depending on your personal tax situation.

What is the Course Like?
The race takes place in downtown Alpharetta, GA and will begin and end at Wills Park (see map at the bottom of the website). This is a very fast and enjoyable course taking you from the park, past Legion Field, past the old Milton High School and the log cabin, through downtown and back to the park.

Parking:
There is plenty of it at Wills Park - park near the pool or baseball fields

Awards:
We are pleased to offer awards to the top Overall male and female, top Masters male and female and top 3 male and female finishers in these age groups:
10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Prizes will be presented to the top finishers in each category, provided that there are at least 5 entries in each category. Categories with less than 5 entries may be combined with another category. The Rowdy RALPH Run Committee reserves the right to add/delete categories and awards prior to race day based on participation. The awards ceremony and post race party will take place immediately after the completion of the race.

We'll also have a few door prized from our amazing sponsors!

T-Shirts:
Once again, we'll have the coolest design and QUICK-WICKING TECHNICAL T’s, so send in your entry early to ensure that you receive one of these great shirts. Note, the shirts tend to run a little large, so order a size smaller if you like a more snug fit.

Cancellations and Refunds:
Requests for refunds must be made BEFORE October 1st. To request a refund, please email douglashene@gmail.com There will be a $10 processing fee deducted from the refund. This amount covers the cost of race shirts that will have been ordered. No refunds will be given after October 1st.

Official Site for the 2009 Rowdy Ralph Run

After a successful 5K on October 11, 2008 we will have another race in 2009. We aim to include a 10K and Fun Run as well. Please click on the Active link to the right to pre-register for next years' races on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Wills Park. The results are also available via the link to the right. Last year's web site is still available to be viewed at Rowdy RALPH 2008 . We hope to see you in 2009!
